Wei will be joining Aviva Plc, a British insurer as an actuary in the internal audit department at its US headquarter in Iowa. Her primary responsibilities include tracking and assessing the life insurer's positions in reserving, capital liabilities, and product pricing to assure the company's financial stability in the industry and its compliance with relevant regulations. Before joining Aviva, Wei had been working as a life actuary with Deloitte Consulting where she performed actuarial auditing for the largest life insurers in the world. Wei received her bachelor's degree in statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
